Kent Area MicroBusiness Loan Services

KAMLS is a non-profit corporation that facilitates access to capital and business services to micro-entrepreneurs with fewer than ten employees. Loans ranging between $1,000 – $35,000 to eligible micro-business and entrepreneurs. In addition, area organizations offer support services to start up businesses.

KAMLS loans may be used as working capital, or for the purchase of machinery or equipment, furniture, fixtures, inventory, or supplies.

To qualify for KAMLS, applicants must demonstrate a low-to-moderate income, complete a business-training program, and write a business plan.
